About the role:
The Senior Electrical Designer is responsible for developing and coordinating electrical design deliverables for assigned projects, ensuring technical accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with project requirements. This role supports project execution through cross-functional collaboration, design documentation, field support, and guidance to junior team members.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Design and Technical Development
Develop electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and installation drawings.
Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, cable routing, and layout reviews to support system design.
Compliance and Quality
Coordination and Project Execution
Leadership and Field Support
These are the must-have requirements for the role:
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in electrical design within an industrial, manufacturing, consulting, or project-based environment.
Proficiency in electrical design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools.
Experience preparing drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and construction or installation documentation.
