Description
Key Job Elements:
- Responsible for executing all facets of the contract and salaried hiring process – this includes developing and recording job requisitions and job postings and managing the Applicant Tracking System/website postings
- Process candidates through the candidate workflow including screening, candidate communications, scheduling interviews and technical testing, facilitating offers of employment, including background checks
- Ensure the payroll team receives the necessary onboarding information
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, workflows and legal regulations in all respects of talent acquisition function
- Develop, contribute to and implement effective strategies to continuously improve the organization’s operations
- Process documentation for internal employee moves
- Assist with special projects and initiatives and other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources Management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Keen eye for data integrity, accuracy and quality assurance of the information developed
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with team and employees across all departments and levels
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member within HR department to promote an HR best practice environment
- Strong commitment to providing a high level of service to stakeholders
- Intermediate skill level in MS office applications
- Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel (2% Cdn)
Preferred Qualifications:
- CHRP designation or in progress
- Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
