The Training, Test and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Senior Specialist plays a key role in leading activities that support our customers and success of the Program. This position oversees ILS, training, and testing programs, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance requirements while fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders. The role will contribute to ensuring effective contract execution, compliance, and continuous improvement in support of our strategic objectives. Future scope of this position is expected to include management of direct reports.

Key Job Elements:

  • Lead ILS, training, and testing activities to ensure effective program execution and sustainment performance
  • Manage and track program deliverables including Test Incident Reports (TIRs) and Failure Analysis & Corrective Action Reports (FACARs)
  • Serve as a customer-facing representative, building and maintaining strong relationships to support contract performance and issue resolution
  • Oversee program scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables to meet technical, contractual and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements
  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplined teams to resolve programmatic and technical challenges
  • Monitor risk, financial performance, and progress against program objectives, taking corrective action as needed
  • Prepare and present program reporting, documentation, and correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure timely development and submission of all Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and other contractual deliverables
  • Support compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, including ITAR, EAR, FCPA, GP, and SOX requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide coverage for the Program Manager, as required

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Direct customer-facing experience and Project Management/Program Office experience
  • Customer and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and solve complex problems
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate people to achieve common objectives
  • Demonstrated strength in managing relationships at all levels of an organization, both internal and external
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively to achieve short and long term objectives and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team, including facilitating discussion, agreement and issue resolution
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure
  • Familiarity with various functional areas of the business
  • Strong negotiation, oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience in MS Office applications, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience and understanding of GDLS-C standards, processes and metrics
  • Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
  • Previous supervisory experience or experience leading teams
  • Product knowledge and defence industry or military experience
  • Previous experience working with government contracts
  • Related customer experience
  • Experience creating or managing metrics or other performance reports
  • EVMS and Bid-X experience
