Are you ready to take on an exciting role as a Mill Operator? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality culverts. If you have a passion for precision, mechanical aptitude, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment, then this opportunity is for you!

As a Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include setting up and operating the culvert mill, ensuring that every product meets our stringent Company specifications. You will have the chance to work with a team of dedicated professionals, collaborate with supervisors and managers, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate the culvert mill to produce top-notch culverts that meet Company Specifications.

- Change mill dies as required for seamless production.

- Perform daily inspections and service the mill following our service guidelines.

- Keep the culvert mill and saw clean, ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.

- Complete all necessary production and quality control records.

- Make repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.

- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections as directed.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area as designated.

- Collaborate with the Shop Foreman and or Regional Manager on any equipment issues.

 

Qualifications:

- A high school diploma or equivalent, with excellent reading, writing, and math skills.

- 1-3 years experience with a steel rolling machine.

- Demonstrated use of personal protective clothing and equipment.

- Ability to operate power equipment safely and effectively.

- Strong mechanical aptitude, allowing you to identify potential equipment issues and make necessary repairs.

- Familiarity and proficiency in working with metric measurements.

- A team player mindset with a willingness to take direction and suggest improvements.
