  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating Saturdays

Position Summary
As the Dispatcher/Shipper/Receiver, the individual will be required to efficiently dispatch delivery drivers and check, pick, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They will help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store and efficiently deliver parts, being mindful of customer requests. They will be required to answer internal and external telephone calls and complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner. Effective use of resources, such as the company database and parts catalogue will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)
  • Help control inventory and ensure product availability
  • Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
  • Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)
  • Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
  • When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
  • Coordinate the drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team


Key Requirements

  • A valid G Driver’s License and a clean 3-year driver’s abstract required
  • Dispatching experience preferred
  • Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)
  • Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and stock maintenance experience an asset

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs. (22.7 kg) safely and consistently
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, twist, lift and bend on a regular basis
