Yurek Specialties Limited is a state-of-the-art processing facility in London, ON, which features the latest equipment to support the processing, production, and delivery of medical supplies and infusion equipment, along with related supplies, to the Elgin, Norfolk, Oxford, London-Middlesex, Huron, Perth, Grey, Bruce and Grand River counties.
We are currently looking for a
Senior Inventory Analyst
to join our
Yurek Specialties
team in London, Ontario.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the VP, Operations, the Senior Inventory Analyst will play a key role in the inventory management process. The Senior Inventory Analyst will have a high degree of communication and coordination with other employees and departments throughout the Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Inventory Strategies
Establish and manage inventory strategies, aligning levels with customer forecasts and shipping schedules, and maintaining optimal stock for efficient operations.
Oversee and Support Warehouse Operations
Direct daily warehouse activities, conduct slotting exercises, and implement cycle counting programs to ensure high accuracy and effective use of space.
Lead and Mentor Team
Guide, train, and mentor the inventory team on policy compliance, safety standards, and regulatory adherence, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Enhance Supplier and Process Efficiency
Build strong supplier relationships and identify improvements in inventory control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Monitor, Report, and Analyze Inventory Performance
Prepare regular reports, monitor data to reduce discrepancies, and maintain dashboards to provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Completion of Post-Secondary degree or diploma, preferably in finance, inventory management or related field
5 to 7 years experience in inventory hands-on management
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel)
Extensive ERP experience in material management/inventory/finance modules
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
