Role Description

The Radio Frequency Student role is a full-time, on-site position based at Western University in London, ON. The incumbent will assist in designing, testing, and optimizing radio frequency (RF) systems and components for research and development projects. Daily tasks may include conducting RF experiments, collecting and analyzing data, using RF measurement equipment, and documenting technical findings. The role requires collaboration with faculty, researchers, and other team members to ensure successful execution of projects. This position provides hands-on learning opportunities to expand expertise in RF systems and related technologies.

 

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) concepts, principles, and systems
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experimentation techniques, including the use of RF measurement equipment
  • Ability to document technical findings effectively and communicate research results
  • Strong collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to a fast-paced, research-focused environment
  • Enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related undergraduate/graduate program is required
  • Previous experience with RF technologies or software tools (e.g., EMPro, ADS) is considered an asset
