Custom Machining – Industrial – Scientific - Medical

Shop Supervisor

Trident Technologies Inc. is a specialized reputable custom manufacturing / machine shop, committed to providing a dependable service and premium quality in the southwest region of Ontario. We currently have an immediate opening for an energetic and reliable individual working full-time in the position of Shop Supervisor.

The successful candidate must possess leadership and team management skills; be able to multi-task; is self-motivated; and have good organizational skills with attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge with set up and operation of CNC Machines, Lathes, etc.
Read and interpret drawings
Experience with MasterCam is an asset
Supervise/Assist Team of 10-15 employees
Ensure manufacturing specifications are followed
Ensure project deadlines are achieved
Maintain machines and workstations through preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot/Repair and improve machine processes when needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Preferably 5+ years minimum experience as a Tool & Die Maker
Minimum 10 years Machinist experience
Previous Supervisory/Leadership experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Possess problem-solving and decision-making skills
Basic computer skills
