About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EHS Administrator to support our Environmental Health & Safety programs. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about safety and environmental compliance, with the ability to adapt quickly and contribute meaningfully in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the EHS Manager in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.

· Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to ensure compliance with applicable local, provincial, and federal legislation.

· Maintain and organize accurate documentation, including inspection reports, incident reports, and training records.

· Assist in the delivery of onboarding and recurring EHS training for team members, supervisors, and contractors.

· Participate in incident investigations and support the development of corrective and preventive actions.

· Monitor and promote the proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Assist with internal and external reporting, including data collection for regulatory compliance and management review.

· Attend and support Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings and maintain up-to-date records.

· Stay current with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.

· Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Certificate or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.

· Familiarity with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Industrial Establishments Regulation, and other applicable legislation; experience in an industrial setting is an asset.

· Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
