Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer in electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling for oil cooled transformers. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a Production Workers in London, ON.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery.

  • Ensure parts are built to the blueprint specifications.

  • Using tape measures and calipers to conduct quality checks.

  • Using table saws, drill presses, hand tools, etc., to assist in making parts for customers.

  • Assemble parts together using glue and other adhesives.

  • Assist with packaging goods to be shipped.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.

  • Adhere to the health and safety guidelines.

  • Work fluidly with other departments to ensure products are shipped out on time.

  • Additional duties as assigned within your department.

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in a woodworking environment.

  • Ability to work in a team setting and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Great attendance is a critical requirement.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.

  • Basic Math skills – ability to measure and calculate.

  • The ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job specific requirements.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
