Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Chain & Logistics, the Global Sourcing Manager, Metals leads global sourcing activities across the metals category—driving strategic sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance improvement to deliver cost, quality, delivery, and service outcomes globally.

This position is part of the Supply Chain team and will be hybrid in London, ON.

This role will include travel up to 5 to 10%, internationally and locally.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and global value sourcing projects from start to finish across metals categories.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts; manage agreements and enforce performance standards aligned with organizational goals.
  • Build and manage a global supplier portfolio to improve cost, quality, delivery, and risk outcomes.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Operations, R&D, Engineering, Legal, Corporate Procurement) to execute sourcing strategies.
  • Lead supplier transitions to competitive global suppliers while ensuring uninterrupted supply.
  • Use ERP/MRP, e-sourcing tools, and Veralto Enterprise Systems to track spend and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of global metals market conditions to inform sourcing decisions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, OR technical training with equivalent working experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • 7–10 years of procurement/category management experience; preference for metals category exposure.
  • 5 years of global sourcing experience in a global manufacturing environment, leading global value sourcing projects end-to-end.
  • 3 years experience using MRP/ERP materials planning systems and electronic sourcing tools (RFI, RFQ, reverse auctions); Baan or LN a plus.
  • 3 years of experience working with R&D, New Product Development & Engineering teams in a product/project environment, which includes experience procuring custom-engineered equipment.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $125,000 CAD per year This job is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, and medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
