This is a 16-month contract from May 2025 to Aug 2026.

POSTING

In this role, you will:

  • Perform routine analysis, bench-scale, and pilot-scale treatment tests on synthetic and client water samples.

  • Performs instrumental chemical analysis of water samples using LC/MS/MS, HPLC, GC/MS, UV spectrophotometry, and other analytical techniques.

  • Carry out independent water treatment research projects as assigned. Carry out routine lab maintenance.

Are you qualified? The essential requirement of the job include:

  • Current student in an undergraduate Science/Engineering program.

  • Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a small team.

  • Exposure to analytical instrumentation would be an asset (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in any of the skills below:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of personnel throughout the organization.

  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency and mathematical capabilities.
