BOS Innovations Inc. is seeking skilled Machine Builders, specifically licensed Millwrights (433A) and Tool & Die Makers (430A), to join our innovative team at our state-of-the-art facility in London, Ontario. JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME
Wage Bracket: $37 - $45, OT paid out at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 40 hours, 3% company matching RRSP
POSITION SUMMARY
Your responsibilities will include assembling, plumbing, testing, and installing automated machinery and robotic cells. You will translate engineering drawings and schematics into functional machinery, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.
As a Build Team Member you will:
- Review and analyze design drawings and collaborate with engineering to implement necessary changes for improved functionality and efficiency.
- Source and organize materials for machine assembly.
- Use various fabrication equipment, such as plasma cutters, lathes, and MIG/TIG welders, to create parts.
- Test and inspect parts to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Assemble automated machines using established design packages and tooling kits.
- Identify and resolve build challenges, making modifications as needed.
- Engage in meetings to track project progress and risks.
- Participate in design reviews to assess mechanical designs and suggest improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Contribute to creating efficient plumbing layouts for machinery.
Requirements
ABOUT YOU
You are a skilled 433A Millwright or 430A Tool & Die Maker with over three years of experience, however apprentices are welcome to apply. Ideally, you have experience in automation manufacturing which combines the knowledge of machine building, metallurgy, welding, and health and safety protocols with the ability to interpret blueprints, perform rigging and hoisting, manage time effectively, solve problems proactively, communicate clearly, and lead teams both independently and collaboratively to drive project success.
