We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our local HR team. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical, and goal-oriented professional with strong administrative skills and a friendly demeanor. Key Responsibilities:

· Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties including filing, record-keeping, and managing HRIS data maintenance (40-50% of the role).

· Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by supporting job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.

· Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees and management.

· Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a team player to prioritize tasks and support HR objectives.

· HR Program Implementation: Contribute to the attainment of HR objectives by effectively implementing and executing employment activities and launching HR programs.

· Business Support: Provide business support to various departments, ensuring alignment with HR strategies and business priorities.

· SAP SuccessFactors: Utilize SAP SuccessFactors for HRIS data management and reporting.

· Organizational Effectiveness: Support in assessing organizational setup to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

· Health and Safety: Promote and communicate policies related to occupational health and safety for both blue and white-collar employees.

· Employee Relations: Support labor issues in collaboration with business leaders and HR teams.

· Communication: Effectively communicate HR processes, organizational changes, and relevant topics to employees.

· Advisory: Provide advisory services to business line managers to facilitate the achievement of business objectives through effective people management.

Support training and development needs through performance management systems and competency evaluations.

· Labor Legislation: Maintain thorough knowledge of labor legislation and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

· Education: Degree in Human Resources or a related field. Alternatively, a relevant college diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

· Experience: Experience with HRIS preferred, preferably SAP SuccessFactors. Union experience is a plus but not required.

· Skills:

o Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail

o Ability to build long-term relationships and earn trust

o Excellent communication skills

o Fluent in English

o Analytical and goal-oriented mindset

o Proactive personality with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation

Salary ranges from $70,000 to $76,000 based on experience.
