Quality Specialist

Arvin Sango Canada Inc. is a Tier I supplier of exhaust and structural vehicle components.

Due to the incoming implementation of new lines and expansion of our workforce, we have a new position for a talented and motivated Quality Control Specialist.

Summary

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Specialist will assist in all aspects of our Quality System – including joining a team of Quality members. As part of the team, they are responsible for ensuring automotive parts meet all the standards and requirements as established between our customer and Arvin Sango Canada prior to leaving our facility. The successful candidate will support Customer Quality, Internal Operations and Supplier Performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of Quality Department and Systems.
• Maintain robust Quality Control Systems
• Actively engage in identifying root causes then implement corrective actions.
• Work alongside the Quality Control team.
• Drive supplier performance.
• Identify and address potential quality concerns before they escalate into problems.
• Work with Engineering and Production Control to track and coordinate engineering changes.
• Tabulate and report monthly quality performance to the Quality Supervisor.

Job Qualifications – Preference will be given to candidates with:

• 5 years’ experience in a Quality Role
• Exceptional working knowledge of manufacturing systems, processes and materials
• Metal stamping, welding and assembly experience
• Strong ability to communicate both verbally and written
• Have a valid passport and the ability to travel to for periodic training
• Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a tier one automotive environment

Education

• College/University graduate from an Engineering or Quality program, preferred but not required.
