- Member of Logistics Project Team within Integrated Product Support (IPS) department responsible to assist in execution/coordination of GDLS-C supportability efforts
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure logistics products/new designs are developed in accordance with prime contract(s) requirements and Logistics SDRLs are delivered on time
- Liaise closely with the Engineering groups to update internal/external schedules and assist with the resolution of day-to-day issues
- Coordinate and support the GDLS-C Change Control and subcontractor ECP process including implementation of the change(s)
- Assist Logistics Support Analysis and Technical Publications development and delivery to customer
- Coordinate and assist with project(s) execution for scope, cost and schedule using EVMS and departmental procedures and guidance documents
- Assist in the investigation, analysis and recommendation of corrective actions to address project and test issues
- Attend customer and subcontractor meetings, as required (In process reviews, Log Demo, Verification, etc.)
- Receive/address incoming correspondence from internal/external customer for impacts to Logistics Engineering
Required Qualifications:
- University Degree or College Diploma in a technical discipline
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Product knowledge of LAV/mobile equipment systems and software
- Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Proactive, with the ability to work with limited guidance
- Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (10% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
- Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Logistics Engineering or Technical Publications
- Applicable knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 2A/2B and Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR)
- Familiarity with the S1000D specification and data structures
- Prior experience with preparation of Bid & Proposal documents
