Position Summary
This position is a 12-month contract position for a Project Leader in the Innovation and Technology department. The successful candidate will manage a team to perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses on water samples, as well as design and perform experiments to advance treatment knowledge.
Detailed Role Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee the collection of water samples both from local sources and across the continent using staff, internal and external partners.
- Manage, organize and schedule staff to process samples for water quality measurements and treatment studies.
- Manage QAQC programs and data storage and produce results visualizations and summary reports.
- Design and execute trials and experiments to advance treatment studies.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate engineering degree, or graduate science degree
- 5+ years working experience in a laboratory environment
- 5+ years of team leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience executing research projects
- Experience with water quality measurements is an asset
- Experience with water treatment processes is an asset
- Experience leading and motivating teams is an asset
