SALARY: $42.50/ hour

 

SHIFT: Rotating:

  • 3 weeks Day Shift

  • 1 week Afternoon Shift

  • 1 week Overnight Shift

 Overtime work available

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with core teams to solve daily production needs

  • Conduct preventative maintenance, overhauls, and inspections to prevent unplanned maintenance

  • Use equipment in the shop, including lathes, mills, saws, grinders and presses to fabricate parts

  • Scope work as needed to generate work orders for corrective work

  • Use SAP to look at scheduled work and document maintenance activities

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess Journeyman Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certification (433A Red Seal)

  • 1 year experience as Journeyman Industrial Mechanic Millwright; 3 years experience preferred

  • Experience repairing all types of conveying systems

  • Good understanding of packaging equipment preferred

  • Capable of welding to high standards in a food manufacturing facility

  • Excellent troubleshooting, Demonstrate problem-solving skills and continuous learning mind set
