As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of high-impact marketing initiatives, including internal and external events, supplier engagement programs, and the development of marketing materials. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.
This is a flex hybrid work structure, where employees can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination
- Assist in organizing and executing corporate events such as Supplier Day, plant tours, and internal engagement activities.
- Coordinate logistics, vendor communications, and on-site support for events.
- Support post-event follow-ups, surveys, and reporting.
- Marketing Collateral Development
- Contribute to the creation and design of brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Compile findings into actionable reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Digital & Internal Communications
- Support content creation for internal newsletters, social media, and website updates.
- Assist in maintaining marketing databases and contact lists.
What you bring to the Team
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with a 4 month co-op.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Interest in sustainability, clean energy, or manufacturing is an asset.
