Machine Maintenance Technician

We require a Machine Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for:

  • Ongoing maintenance of the Injection Molding Machines to support the production work schedule
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance as per instructions
  • Troubleshooting and rebuilding of the material metering units and pumps
  • Troubleshooting and rebuilding of hydraulic and pneumatic auxiliary equipment
  • Assist in installation and repair of machines and other equipment
  • Maintain clear documentation and records
  • Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures
  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving of any product quality issues
  • Maintain clean work station, tools and other related areas
  • Communicate effectively through all levels of the organization

 

Do you have?

  • College diploma in a related technical or maintenance field
  • 1-2 years experience in machine repair and maintenance in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with injection molding machines an asset
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read mechanical and hydraulic drawings and specifications
  • Excellent ability to problem solve and troubleshoot effectively
  • Excellent technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management and attention to detail
