Part-Time Professors - School of Manufacturing, Science and Transportation
About the job
Note: These are part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting January 7, 2026 and ending April 17, 2026.
The School of Manufacturing, Science and Transportation is looking for qualified part-time professors to teach courses in the following areas:
- Controls
- AC Theory
- Process Engineering
- Manufacturing Process Engineering
- Robotics
- Advanced PLC and HMI Programming
- Systems Programming
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Electromechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years in PLC programming and/or robotics programming
- Proficient in using the following platforms - Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000), Siemens (TIA Portal, STEP 7), Omron (Sysmac, CX-ONE), Fanuc, Kuka and ABB
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to create and maintain an effective learning environment for students emphasizing respect for different opinions, engagement, critical thinking and problem solving
