About the Opportunity

Our company is seeking Tool and Die maker to be a part of our Production and Delivery team. We are looking for individuals who are efficient and comfortable working in a team environment, have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules.

• Maintains and manufactures tools and fixtures accurately to support production
• Able to complete tooling change overs in a production environment
• Sets up and operates all Tool room machines including but not limited to manual and CNC lathes, milling machine, drill press, grinders, etc.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and uses precision measuring instruments (imperial and metric). Performs bench work and skilled fitting to very close tolerances.
• Good working knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to operate co-ordinate measuring devices, such as Faro arms and trackers
• Performs all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations including the use of personal protective equipment
• Ability to work overtime if required, and across multiple shifts
• Must possess basic computer skills, i.e., Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel
• Knowledge of AlphaCam, Polyworks, Team center, NX11 preferred
• Previous experience in template design preferred
• Previous experience in tool design in 3D software preferred

Benefits

• Base hourly starting rate is $52.94
• In addition to your rate, all bargaining unit employees are also entitled to cost of living allowance and an additional $0.40 per hour for participation in the Company’s structured improvement program.
• GDLS-C provides all required equipment to perform work.
• Quarterly performance bonus.
• Shift premium is offered at 5% for afternoon and 10% for midnight shifts
• GDLS-C offers a company paid, comprehensive benefit package for a range of health and dental services for you and your eligible dependents as well as basic life insurance and supplemental life insurance. 
• Bargaining unit employees are enrolled in a defined contribution pension plan.  There is a required 4% contribution with a 4% company match and up to an additional 2% voluntary contribution which provides another 4% match from the company.
