As a Financial Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include analyzing and consolidating financial data, maintaining dashboards, and generating reports that support data-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with the FP&A team and other stakeholders to translate business needs into insightful reporting and automation tools, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
Please note that this is primarily an on-site role.
More about your responsibilities:
- Data Management & Reporting: Gather, consolidate, and analyze large datasets from various systems to develop reports, dashboards, and automated tools that drive informed decision-making.
- Financial Insights & Trend Analysis: Extract and interpret patterns from financial data, identifying key trends and business insights to support strategic planning.
- Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Maintain production dashboards with real-time data, providing actionable insights and ensuring accuracy through troubleshooting and updates.
- SQL & Data Automation: Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, while assisting in the creation of automation scripts and data models.
- Performance Tracking & Process Improvement: Support key performance metric tracking, reconciliations, cost analyses, and budgeting, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize financial reporting.
- Business Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand financial needs and provide solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and accuracy in financial reporting.

- 3+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics
- Post-secondary degree in a related field (accounting, finance, math, or data science).
- Strong skills in SQL and Excel, along with experience in data transformation and analysis using SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX.
- A keen ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present findings that drive business decisions.
- A structured and organized approach to data accuracy, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
- Bonus Skills – Knowledge of VBA, Python, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP, SAGE).
