Inventory Accuracy Coordinator

Position Summary
Duties to include validating inventories system to actual by floor counts and serial number validation through scanning process. Adjusting inventories in ERP system, root cause investigations, identify process failures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all duties and promote themselves in a manner that reflects Formet Expectations and Formet’s Visions/Values through Magna’s Employee Charter.
Follow and abide by all government, Legal, Magna and Formet rules and regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
Maintain inventory integrity by performing regular counts of purchased and in-house products.
Maintain all spreadsheets used in the cycle count process.
Investigate and report inventory and packaging inaccuracies using prescribed guidelines.
Adjust SAP based on cycle count results.
Count and adjust all non-cycle count items as required.
Follow up on last / no bin calls, forwarding information to Planning / Logistics.
Follow all cycle count and material handling related procedures.
Perform operations in a manner consistent with Formet’s objective for quality, responsiveness, and cost.
Abide by Formet Industries policies and procedures as described in the most current version of the Employee Handbook.
Attend and participate in Team, Department and any other meetings required.
Participate in departmental training and retraining on a regular basis.
Be accountable and responsible in helping Formet meet its departmental targets and goals
Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.
Perform other duties as designated.
Recommended Qualifications
Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent education.
Knowledge of computers, Microsoft office and RF scanning equipment.
Holds or able to successfully obtain a Forklift license and perform all essential duties of a forklift operator as per Formet’s Forklift Operator guidelines.
Completion of Post-Secondary Education.
Be enrolled in / willing to enroll in Material Management (APICs) courses.
