Reporting to the Vice President, Information and Business Technology (IBT), the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, participating in, and supporting various projects at Jones Healthcare Group, with a focus on IT-related projects and solutions. Using best-practice project management processes and procedures, the Project Manager is accountable for the efficient and effective delivery of these projects, managing schedule, scope, risk mitigation, and budget.

Here are some of the different activities you’ll be asked to do:

  • Accountable for the successful delivery of enterprise projects and division specific projects, driving project delivery, identifying dependencies impacting prioritization and making resource allocation decisions.
  • Plan project deliverables, elicit, document, and validate project scope, and mitigate risk across projects to ensure achievement of all internal and external milestones, outputs, and deadlines.
  • Oversee the delegation of work to achieve project deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of projects’ progress, plans, risk, and status is reported to project sponsors, identifying and resolving conflicts wherever they arise.
  • Effectively engage with Jones leadership, contractors, customers, suppliers, third parties and project stakeholders throughout the duration of projects, developing positive, enduring relationships.

If you’ve got:

  • Postsecondary degree in a related field with successful completion of PMP certification preferred
  • 5+ years of proven leadership over enterprise level projects
  • Solid practical knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches
