The Opportunity

 

We are recruiting a Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Leader to help facilitate the ongoing and rapid growth at SLEEGERS.  This person will be responsible for delivering Supply Chain initiatives that advance the company’s supply chain capabilities to drive step-change improvement in performance.  This position will require the ability to wear many hats, including CI Practitioner, Project Leader, Business Analyst, Documenter, and Trainer

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Creates and maintains a prioritized list of projects to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency of E2E supply chain processes
  • Personally leads the highest priority projects for the organization
  • Ensures execution of all prioritized projects, including those being led by others in the organization
  • Develops and manages all project documents, including charter, budget, plan, and requirements
  • Facilitates the Lean improvement journey via tools/techniques such as Kaizens, 5S, Kanban, etc.
  • Establish and track metrics to measure and monitor improvement benefits
  • Owns preparation for and facilitation of daily/weekly tier management reviews
  • Designs and documents (via SOPs) end-to-end supply chain processes that deliver outcomes in alignment with company needs and expectations
  • Collaborates with Information Technology partners to create and lead integrated project plans
  • Provides subject matter expertise and coaching/training on departmental processes and systems
  • Provides data analytics and insights to support the supply chain organization priorities and initiatives

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in:
    • Continuous improvement leadership
    • Supply chain planning and execution (preferably in manufacturing environment)
    • Process and systems change management leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Finance, Operations Management, Business Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification
  • Computer literate including proficiency with ERPs and Microsoft Office applications; specifically Excel
  • ERP knowledge
