We are hiring an eCommerce Business Development Manager in our Mississauga or St. Thomas, ON location (flexible hybrid work environment).

We are looking for an eCommerce Business Development Manager who will be responsible for rapidly accelerating the organization’s eCommerce sales growth with focus on retail customers who are at varying stages of activating their omnichannel strategies. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets and generating new programs and/or promotions to help drive profitable revenue growth. The eCommerce Business Development Manager collaborates with Product Management, Retail Sales, Supply Chain and Marketing to implement customer strategies for new and existing products, execute promotions, develop forecasts, and ensure account-specific shipment metrics are met.

 

The incumbent will also be expected to focus on developing new accounts and increasing market share. Additionally, this position exists to ensure that all Masco Canada’s brands are represented where applicable in key online markets across Canada.  This may involves working alongside our Sister Business Units to leverage existing success with major customers to identify Canadian opportunities.
 

What You Will Do:                                                 

  • Be the subject matter expert for the Bricks & Clicks eCommerce business
  • Build relationships, maintain contact, support, and influence customer decisions
  • Work with key customers to develop joint value propositions that will advantage our mutual business.  
  • Strategic development and execution of planned business growth across multiple accounts incorporating Omnichannel strategies and pricing with planned promotional activity
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin targets
  • Possess ability to multitask in a team oriented, fast paced environment and provide outstanding customer support through effective communication with resourceful problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the forecast plans are up to date and maintained throughout the year
  • Collaborate with Buyers on execution plans for upcoming promotions, online advertising, and new launch activations
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Ops, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance seeking sustainable growth deliverables within the E-Commerce channel
  • Work with the Supply Chain team as needed to ensure shipments and orders are delivered on time
  • Collaborate with Retail Sales Account Managers in developing retail partners’ omnichannel strategies
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong business skills related to negotiating, budgeting, analyzing, presenting, and selling

 

 

Who You Are:

  • University degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Three plus (3+) years of eCommerce experience with direct retail account sales experience
  • Valid drivers’ license
  • Negotiation skills
  • Advanced Presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Results oriented
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers
