The Opportunity

Are you a dedicated worker looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? We are recruiting a quality-conscious and detail-oriented Machine Operator to effectively join our team at SLEEGERS. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Perform inspection and machine operation such as: machine set up, change overs, adjustments, cleaning, monitoring, and quality checks 
  • Utilize cranes and conveyors to load/unload 100-400lbs tanks into a water conveyor for testing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for employee safety, product quality, cost control and waste reduction
  • Perform individual tasks or work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment to uphold workplace safety

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have a strong work ethic and a desire to work on a production floor
  • Are physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • Are comfortable operating various tools and machinery 
  • Are detail oriented and have excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Understand the importance of our high degree of product quality and compliance to health and safety standards
  • Experience in metal shop or factory is an asset
