R&D Engineer

About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical aspects of new product development and existing product improvement initiatives achieving key metrics related to on time delivery, cost, compliance, performance and customer needs, making a difference in water quality!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical aspects of cross functional product developments including voice of customer, feasibility study, concept development, system design, testing, verification, relevant documentation and installation support in collaboration with other functions of Pall Water.
  • Create, implement and maintain global regulatory and compliance processes and approvals for new and existing products.
  • Create and execute test plans and reports to develop key insights into various technologies and their potential application to customer needs.
  • Maintain existing product lines based on product improvement initiatives.
  • Travel globally may be required to visit customer or supplier sites.

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with process equipment design
  • Water and Wastewater experience preferred
  • Hands-On experience in installation, maintenance and/or trouble shooting is beneficial
  • Demonstrated professional experience with compliance and regulatory standards is preferred with a focus on NSF, SCIP, Prop 65, US EPA
  • Sound knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, calculations and design including structural, piping, hydraulics and pneumatics and related components and instruments; application knowledge of plastics molding is beneficial.
