Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will coordinate product management initiatives across Tilray to align business activities to the vision and strategy of the organization, improve internal communications and drive completion of project deliverables to achieve milestone targets (chiefly new product projects). 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Under the Project Manager, works with project stakeholders to elaborate and further develop the scope and schedule of sponsored projects, nationally.
  • Coordinates and tracks progress for project deliverables against the project schedule .
  • Facilitates effective communication between team members and stakeholders and works effectively to resolve any issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Actively escalates serious delays and project risks to the Project Manager.
  • Coordinates appropriate and effective filing of project documentation to ensure that it is both secure and accessible.
  • Supports colleagues on the use of tools employed to manage projects, encouraging transparency and accountability across the work streams.
  • Identifies project risks, both threats and opportunities.
  • Performs other assigned duties.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a food or health care manufacturing environment, with project coordination accountability
  • Project Coordinator certification, or working towards CAPM® designation is preferred
  • Packaging Design and Development experience, or familiarity would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse professional backgrounds, and – at times – located in diverse geographical areas/time zones (via phone and web)
  • Experience and comfort/high tolerance for a fast-paced, changeable work environment
  • Ability to travel across Tilray sites: London, Enniskillen, Toronto, Nanaimo
  • Experience in high growth or startup an asset
  • Computer literacy, required, advanced Excel skills an asset. Experience with project planning software (e.g. Smartsheet, MS Project) preferred.

  • Strong and competent decision-making: assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
  • Fluency in English required; ability to speak and understand French an asset
