Gray Ridge Eggs Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic-Millwright for our Strathroy Grading facility.

Education and Experience

• Certification as a licensed Millwright, Industrial and Construction (Journeyperson status 433A, 426A) required.
• Strong communication skills, able to provide clear, concise general instructions for team effectiveness.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Several years’ maintenance experience servicing and maintaining processing and packaging line equipment in a production environment is preferred.
• Experience using computer applications and programs.
• Equipment Operator's Certification to operate power equipment, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to weld would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the egg-grading machine to ensure it is in good, safe working order for continuous production.
• React promptly to problems with the machine and resolve breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
• Manage the preventative maintenance program designed to keep downtime to a minimum and ensure adequate supply of spare parts to replace broken or worn-out machine parts.
• Monitor the egg grading machine, visually inspecting components while running and troubleshooting any problems that are detected.
• Any Maintenance conditions that could compromise food safety are to be documented and given to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Communicate with Machine Operators / Supervisors / Management persons any production maintenance concerns which may affect production.
• Operate and use equipment safely ensuring recommended personal protective equipment is in good condition 
• Comply with all company policies. Practice safe work procedures, and keep areas neat and tidy at all times.
• All other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
