INOAC Interior Systems is an automotive parts manufacturing facility located in the beautiful town of St Marys, Ontario. Due to ongoing growth, we are currently seeking a Millwright to add to our Maintenance Team. Candidates must have completed the Ontario Apprenticeship Program and possess a valid Industrial Millwright Certificate. Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge as well as fabrication experience is required. PLC controls and systems knowledge is a definite asset.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Installs, repairs and maintains industrial plant equipment, machinery and facility services by performing the following duties:

Complete PM work orders of equipment to manufacturer’s recommendations or PM guide and provide feedback on activities and recommend changes to improve the service of equipment.

Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to detect and investigate irregularities.

Respond to manufacturing machinery problems, troubleshoot, diagnose problems and perform corrective repairs.

Repair equipment, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, and automated systems.

Read blue prints, wiring diagrams, manuals, layouts and other specifications (written or verbal) to determine work procedures for mechanical/electrical assembly.

Operate equipment used in the fabrication of parts (i.e. mill, lathe, brake, saw, drill, etc.).

Operate welding equipment; perform gas and mig tig welding as required.

Strong understanding of rigging equipment used in assembly or installation of equipment.

Move equipment/components of equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and fork trucks.

Install, commission of new machinery and support production start-up.

Maintain a thermal fluid boiler system by performing daily checks, filter changes and PM’s.

Knowledge of robot programming and function (Fanuc, ABB).

Understand and comply with company's health and safety regulations and lockout procedures.

Ensure safety considerations are given top priority while planning and performing duties.

Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.

Position is a three shift rotation.

Overtime is a requirement.

Educational Requirements and Skills/Experience

Certified Millwright with solid electrical knowledge.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/automation environment.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Knowledge of PLC and computerized machinery (Allen Bradley, Siemens).

Knowledge of robot programming and function (Fanuc, ABB).

Understand preventive maintenance concepts and computerized work order systems.

License for forklift/scissor lift operation or ability to obtain license.
