Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator

In exchange, we ask you to bring:
· Responsible for all elements of the Health, Safety and Environmental programs, including but not limited to policy creation/ maintenance, program role out, training and communications. Ensuring that programs adhere to or exceeds OHS Legislation, municipal, or provincial legislation. (Canada & US)
· Foster positive safety culture that integrates safety policies/practices into a daily practice for company personnel.
· Lead workplace investigation for near miss, accident, first aid and employee concerns. Ensuring root cause analysis and closing out of actions.
· Management of WSIB process, lead the ESRTW program
- Facilitate new employee safety orientations and various additional health & safety training
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· A sense of urgency and tenacity. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, possess the ability to work effectively alongside employees at all levels of the organization
Required Qualifications:
· 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
· College diploma or University degree combined with industry specific experience
· Ability to prioritize and organize work while overseeing multiple tasks simultaneously
· Experience in reporting on KPI’s
· USA OSHA experience and asset
· Ability to travel to US and Canada facilities
· Proficient in MS Office Suite
