442A Industrial Electrician

We are currently looking for a team-oriented full-time 442A Industrial Electrician to join our team located in London Ontario.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Electrical Lead, the Industrial Electrician installs, maintains, wires, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs custom factory automation machines.

The Responsibilities for the position will include:

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
• Responsible for the assembly of control panels, cabinets, and sub-assemblies, involving wiring, crimping, and working with wire harnesses.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Available to work flexible hours, overtime, and travel as needed.

Education, Skills, and Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 442A Industrial Electrician ticket or equivalent experience.
• Must be willing and able to travel internationally to support machine installs.
• Previous experience with building and installing electrical panels.
• Versatility skills to adapt to sudden design changes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
