We are currently looking for a team-oriented full-time 442A Industrial Electrician to join our team located in London Ontario.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Electrical Lead, the Industrial Electrician installs, maintains, wires, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs custom factory automation machines.
The Responsibilities for the position will include:
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
- Responsible for the assembly of control panels, cabinets, and sub-assemblies, involving wiring, crimping, and working with wire harnesses.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
- Available to work flexible hours, overtime, and travel as needed.
Education, Skills, and Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- 442A Industrial Electrician ticket or equivalent experience.
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally to support machine installs.
- Previous experience with building and installing electrical panels.
- Versatility skills to adapt to sudden design changes.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
