We are Hiring a Senior Program Manager!

 

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for initiating, executing and managing foundational and transformational projects & initiatives that span the enterprise. This person leads cross-functional teams through all stages of projects while maintaining responsibility and compliance to Masco Canada’s standards, processes and business objectives.

 

The Senior Program Manager will lead project in a dynamic environment while possessing business acumen and sophisticated analytic thinking, advance knowledge of project management system capabilities/integrations, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels, including executive leadership. Initiative, leadership, problem solving, and a high degree of organization are critical for success in this role.

What you are responsible for:

  • Lead and direct one or more large-scale business critical, complex, strategic initiatives, projects or programs from the conceptual phase through solution implementation and project close.
  • Use industry-standard best practices in order to assure delivery of project goals and objectives, and milestones and deliverables, as well as compliance with all project management processes.
  • Creates and manages the project schedule, including dependencies and resource requirements from concept through project closure.
  • Identify, implement and manage technology solutions, process improvements and people capability and capacity enhancements to meet and exceed evolving business and customer needs.
  • Lead the re-engineering of business processes on a project by project basis.
  • Implement training needs across the organization.
  • Provide leadership in the requirements gathering process (both business requirements and technical requirements).
  • Assure appropriate integration between project sponsor, project team members, and business stakeholders to identify and address change management efforts.
  • Work with other project teams and departments to implement a standard change management discipline while developing and managing project schedule and milestones.
  • Responsible for leading and driving project communications, initiatives, training and day-to-day operation activities along with project status reporting.
  • Lead the development, management and presentation of projects as it relates to resources, budget, status and timelines.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other groups and departments to support successful initiative change management and business transition management.
  • Manages the resolution and escalation of project issues and facilitate conflict mitigation and risk management.
  • Lead post-launch review meetings to discuss lessons learned, spend v. budget, schedule compliance and obtainment of goals.
  • Other duties as required.

 

What you Bring:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with at least 5 of those managing large scale, organization wide projects
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership, project management and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and work without supervision
  • Effective Team Player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications, with above average Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate a vision, build relationships and obtain buy-in
  • Post Secondary education in a relevant field
