Production Associates

Join our team! We are currently seeking Production Associates to join our dynamic team at Canada Tubeform, a London Ontario Automotive Tier 2 manufacturing facility. We are a progressive, growing Canadian based manufacturing business focused on the production of high-volume tubular steel components and assemblies for the automotive industry and have been in business since 2001 as a privately-owned company. Canada Tubeform operates with advanced technology for stamping and fabrication utilizing a wide scope of processes producing high quality standards as a supplier of choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for primary safe operation of production equipment associated with products produced
  • Performs scheduled quality inspection activities on assigned programs and ensures accurate and complete documentation as required.
  • Attention to detail is a critical requirement.
  • Maintains strong and positive relationships with various departments within the company particularly Quality and Production Control.
  • Responsible for following all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace environment
  • Responsible for assisting and/or performing regularly scheduled cleaning and preventative maintenance on production equipment and tooling as required
  • Expected to contribute to continuous improvement activities and team meetings to promote an effective workplace environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year parts production manufacturing experience, experience in the automotive industry or metal manufacturing preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • High energy and well-developed sense of urgency
  • Proven high attendance standard and work ethic
  • Ability to work a two-shift rotational schedule including days and afternoons (Monday to Friday)
