Sample Preparation Technician / General Labour

We are currently seeking someone to join our sample reception team in a full-time capacity. The successful incumbent will have a positive attitude with an ability to multi-task. As the first point of contact for all samples, they will take pride in the accuracy of their work and have a strong ability to work within a team.

As a Sample Preparation Technician you will be responsible for:

• Grinding of all sample types
• Receiving and layout of all incoming samples
• Cleaning of equipment after use
• Cleaning of work area.
• Any ad hoc assignments as required

Required Qualifications and skills:

• Successful completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in industrial or laboratory setting considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs
• Willing to be flexible in job duties
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
