Sales Executive

Introduction
The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales of Motif’s products and services including: tolling services to LP’s, wholesale distillate to Cannabis 2.0 producers, and white label finished goods to brands.
The successful candidate will be an experienced B2B Sales Executive, with extensive knowledge of the Canadian cannabis industry. Additionally, this individual should have relationships with the licensed producer community, as well as Cannabis 2.0 producers, marketers and retail brands.

Motif operates as a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing services to Licensed Producers (LP's) and 3rd Party Brands. Position
- Self motivated and disciplined sales habits. Role requires significant outbound sales activities.
- Generate business opportunities through professional networking and cold-calling
- Create and drive revenue through an ability and willingness to prospect, engage and close client opportunities.
- Organize all aspects of sales related duties including: quotations, communications and reporting.
- Document leads through an internal CRM system
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients
- Collaborate with Motif stakeholders to create and maintain demand forecasts
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotas and KPI’s
- Previous experience in cannabis industry would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly; maintain focus and accuracy while working in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
- Self-motivated and customer focused
- Time management and follow-up skills; highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel regularly
Flexible working conditions: Role can be remote, with occasional travel to Aylmer, Ontario, the GTA and client locations.
