Summer Student - Manufacturing Team Member

 

Toyota Boshoku Canada (TBCA) manufactures the seats, doors, carpets and headliners for the Toyota RAV4. Our facility is located in Woodstock; a short drive from many surrounding cities. At TBCA our strength is in our team members. We are always searching for the best individuals to join our manufacturing team!


We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is able to work rotating day and afternoon shifts (2-week rotation)
  • Is available and willing to work mandatory overtime (Shifts are 8 to 10 hours long)
  • Can use their hands and wrists repetitively and stand for long periods of time
  • Is able to lift up to 30 lbs repetitively
  • Has a great attendance record and arrives on time for work
  • Has good hand/eye coordination skills
  • Is a positive team player who works well with others


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the assembly and production process
  • Follow work instructions to ensure a high quality standard
  • Learn multiple processes in manufacturing as part of a scheduled job rotation
  • Maintain a clean workstation and contribute to a safe work environment
  • Achieve goals and take pride in a job well done
  • Other duties as assigned


Shifts:

Day Shift: 6:15am to 3:45pm

Afternoon Shift: 5:45pm to 4:15am

***Shifts are between 8 to 10 hours long. The amount of overtime and the shift end times vary due to business demands.

 

Wages:

  • $20.00 per hour as a starting rate
  • Overtime time is paid at 1.5 times your regular wage after 40 hours each week
  • $1.40 shift premium added when working the afternoon shift
