Electronics Assembler - Temporary

Purpose
The Electronics Assembler is responsible for the manufacture of circuit boards and other related devices for all divisions of OES Inc. We are currently recruiting for 6 month temporary full time position, afternoon shift.

Summary of Major Accountabilities

Electronics Assembly:

· Manufacture circuit boards, devices, wire harnesses and/or cables.

· Follow production documentation (drawings, work instructions, blueprints) and complete reports as required.

· Prepare boards for final assembly.

· Work with hand tools for soldering, crimping, and hardware installation.

· Complete all final assembly tasks.

· Operate the Selective Solder machine.

· Handle and store materials/boards using ESD guidelines.

Support team and organizational goals:

· Attending and participating in daily huddles, Electronic Manufacturing and Staff meetings as required.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to a safe work environment.

· Perform all duties in accordance with health and safety work requirements and processes.

· Participate in Internal and External Audit as part of OES Quality Management Systems.

Provide back-up support to other Production roles as required.
Other related duties as assigned and communicated by the Production Manager.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Basic knowledge of Electronics.
  • Ability to use hand tools for soldering, crimping, and hardware installation.
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to read production documentation and instructions.
  • Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various assembly processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and other departments, in multiple formats, including team meetings.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and JobBoss.
  • Knowledge of OES Quality Management Systems, ISO 9000, and other SOP’s.
