Job Description:
3M is seeking an Inside Sales Rep for its Personal Safety Division (PSD) team, located in London, Ontario. The successful candidate will make an impact by driving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sales growth in a specified established territory, encompassing targeted End User accounts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth within the territory with new and existing end-user customers
- Manage a complex customer relationship/model by understanding the customer’s business needs, working with key influencers in the organization, and enhancing the sales experience
- Work to attain sales quota, sales quality, and sales productivity metrics
- Identify market trends and account needs in order to react to market activity and reach favorable sales goals
- Leverage Salesforce to report all activities, opportunities, and customer insights
Basic Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education
- 2 years of sales experience, including developing and maintaining sales growth, seeking out new customers, and technical selling/providing product information
- Advanced selling skills, time and territory management
- Strong active listening, oral, and written skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- University Degree (Business or Marketing preferred)
- Bilingualism (French) a strong asset
- Knowledge of industrial and safety products is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Salesforce
Travel: In this role, you may be required to travel less than 5% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver’s license is required.
