Evening Premium : $0.60

Job Description

As an Operator, you would be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, operating high speed manufacturing equipment, driving fork trucks and cleaning. You would also become trained in lean manufacturing techniques, which includes monitoring and interpreting performance data to ensure we’re operating at our maximum capacity.
Job Responsibilities
- Able to work in a safe manner and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and understand known hazards associated with the task/job.
- Capable of producing quality beer by following SOP's & SSOP's
- Performing all Quality, Production, HACCP, and LIMS tasks/documentation as required.
- Basic mechanical understanding and assisting in pro-active troubleshooting to correct production issues.
- Responsible for timely communication with Managers, Trades, peers & Inter-departmental contacts to ensure efficient operation.
- Able to work on all shifts and responsible for showing up on time and ready to work with proper and clean uniform.
- Monitor high speed equipment
- Drive fork trucks
- Load supplies into machinery
- Record process data
- Help continuous improvement by following Key Performance Indicators
- Perform process quality control checks
- Execute industrial cleaning and sanitation
- Read, monitor and interpret performance metrics
Minimum qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and bending
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and climates
- Ability to work varying shifts on weekends and/or holidays (days, afternoon, midnights, overtime).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn about management systems and to go above and beyond
