Position Description:

• Develop technical requirements, verification approaches and verification methods at system and sub-system level
• Develop system and sub-system architectures, ensuring consistency with developed requirements, in collaboration with the Vehicle Architect
• Manage the integrity of the product structure, system architecture, requirements, and compliance throughout the product development process
• Implement and execute Systems Engineering (SE) processes and practices, in compliance with the Integrated Process System (IPS)
• Analyze performance requirements, Technical Performance Measures (TPM)’s, and allocation targets (size, weight & power) for compliance
• Coordinate and direct the preparation, review and approval of design maturity reviews (DMRs) and checkpoint reviews (SFR, PDR, CDR)
• Lead system and sub-system Model Reviews
• Evaluate technical performance and status against established performance parameters and baselines
• Assure technical products for milestones and deliverables are met
• Develop and execute SE technical scope of the Integrated Master Schedule, in collaboration with Engineering Project Management
• Review and approve requirements documents at sub-system level
   

Position Requirements:

• University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and schedules
• Strong technical and analytical ability
• Product knowledge of Military/LAV family of vehicles
• Basic knowledge of EVMS
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to give presentations to internal and external customers
• Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of cross-departmental procedures/practices
• Strong knowledge of vehicle design practices
• Exposure to Software Development or Software Requirements
• Basic understanding of requirements development and system verification processes
• Working knowledge of GDLS Internal Process System and Systems Engineering Fundamentals
