Day Shift Warehouse Team Member
Position Title: Warehouse Team Member (Material Handler & Machine Operator)
Location: London, Ontario
Type of Employment: 12-Month Contract transitioning into full-time permanent
Compensation: $18.00/hour with a comprehensive benefits package
- Wages will be reviewed pending training and growth within the department
- Starting wage may vary depending on previous relevant experience
Hours
- Monday to Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
- Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (filled by volunteers or in reverse seniority order)
- Occasional overtime work may be available/required depending on business needs
Position Summary
The primary objective of this role is to reliably pick and receive incoming stock, scan and stock automotive parts, prepare skids, process returns, support inventory control, operate equipment or maintain the warehouse organization and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
- Support all warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)
- Help control inventory and ensure product availability
- Complete necessary paperwork (e.g. warranty forms) in an accurate manner
- Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicle
- Follow Health and safety awareness practices (e.g. safe material handling practices, knowledge and application of proper ergonomics and hand hygiene)
- Efficiently sort items in alphanumeric order
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
- Operate warehouse equipment when necessary to perform tasks
Key Requirements and Experience
- Warehouse experience an asset (e.g. picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and maintenance)
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Experience and certifications on machinery an asset (e.g. Walkie, Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach, Counterbalance)
- RF Scanner experience an asset
- Strong basic mathematical skills and understanding of basic units of measure
- Strong basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Positive and professional attitude with a flexible mindset
- Accountability and dependability
- Excellent ability to work independently and as a team
- Time management skills and prioritization skills with a deadline-oriented mindset

Canusa Warehouse is not located on a bus route, so individual transportation will be required.
