Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Sanitation Worker to ensure our equipment and facility remain clean, safe, and compliant with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize food production equipment, tools, and surfaces according to company and industry hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the production area, including floors, walls, and storage spaces.
- Properly dispose of waste and manage recycling following safety guidelines.
- Follow sanitation and food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Use and store cleaning chemicals safely, following company procedures.
- Inspect equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Work efficiently to complete cleaning tasks within scheduled timeframes.
Requirements
- Availability to work an afternoon/night shift.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Experience in industrial or food production cleaning is an asset but not required
- Ability to follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals properly.
