THE OPPORTUNITY

We are excited to offer the opportunity to outgoing, resourceful and energetic individuals with demonstrated leadership skills to operate a forklift to support our packaging and mixing operations. The qualified candidates for this position would be required to work rotating continental shift work (12-hour shifts), which will involve working every other weekend  (36-48 hours per week). In this role, you will report directly to the Logistics Supervisor and indirectly to the Operations Leaders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Feeding & removing materials to packaging/mixing lines to ensure maximum operational efficiency
• Organize and track product inventory in a freezer warehouse
• RF inventory control of all bulk and finished goods
• Keep accurate inventory records and documentation
• Daily input of inventory into computer
• Safety, quality, and customer conscious

QUALIFICATIONS :

• OSSD or equivalent
• Lift truck license with 1-2 years’ experience
• Experience with an RF inventory system
• Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment
• Able to work shift work and weekends
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Proven organizational and planning skills
• Self-motivated, work well independently
• A commitment to team spirit and a positive work environment
