Successful completion of post-secondary education in the field of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management, Ergonomics or Human Resources Management with equivalent work-related experience and training.
Minimum three (3) years work-related expereience in a maunfacturing environment, preferrably automotive.
CRSP designation or equivilant a definite asset.
Must be able to apply knowledge and skills to the detection and solution of general and technical problems, must also be able to operate required measuring instruments, conduct testing/sampling, gather data, interpret analysis and legislation requirement/applications, write reports, make recommendations, and suggest improvements.
Maintain updates in specified field technology and legislative changes.
Knowledge and experience in applying ESA, Human Rights, OHSA and applicable regulations as well as WSIB policies and procedures.
Able to work in a strictly confidential and professional manner
Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
Must be able to meet tight deadlines and cope with stressful situations postively and proactively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Windows and Web-based applications, portals and various software programs as required
