Deployments Mgmt & Business Planning & Control Area Manager
Position Description:
Key Job Elements:
- Manage, lead and mentor CSS PLP, Business Planning, Scheduling and Systems Staff
- Manage all CSS deployment requirements, coordinating with Market and CSTC leads on discrete objectives
- Support CSS deployed objectives and staff while on deployment
- Develop and report monthly business and resource plans (CE, ETC and EAC’s)
- Lead the coordination and development of Sustainment Services Performance Metrics
- Monitor and provide direction on Sustainment Service indirect budgets
- Monitor and report on Sustainment Service CIP initiatives
- Interface directly with HR on all CSS recruitment activity
- Lead & Support implementation of digital transformation activities within CSS
- Lead CSS team to execute functions of compliance (ITAR, ISO, etc) and administration
Position Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
* University degree
* Minimum 5 – 7 years relevant experience
* Cross functional knowledge of GDLS-C products and services
* Proven ability to work independently with significant initiative
* Superior communication, organization and prioritization skills
* Extensive experience working with teams and/or customers
* Excellent presentation skills
* Adept supervisory and coaching skills
* Ability to travel (5% Cdn) (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrated ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.
* Respected and trusted leader with a proven track record of achievement, solid management skills and a reputation as leader of change* Strong established relationships with multiple departments in GDLS-C
* Experience with budgeting, financial reporting and EVMS
* Knowledge of Oracle systems, processes for parts ordering and distribution, or vehicle maintenance and component repairs
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sustainment Services
