Position Summary

As a Product Lifecycle Manager at Trojan Technologies, you will drive growth and provide leadership to our global team as we strive to help our current customers meet their water quality objectives through safe, reliable, sustainable solutions. The successful candidate is a results-oriented team player who is customer focused, learns quickly and is passionate about quality. With an ability to lead through influence, this role will prioritize initiatives that provide value across the customer journey. The primary role of this position is to lead a portfolio of cross-functional projects to drive quality, growth and profitability of existing products through effective product lifecycle management.

 

Accountabilities

  • Effectively manage a portfolio of product initiatives associated with product quality, compliance, sustaining engineering, product phase-out

  • Lead the problem-solving process to address issues and opportunities, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Service, Sales and Marketing teams to meet key performance indicators

  • Complete data analyses to assess product line performance and identify and prioritize opportunities to drive quality, growth and margin expansion for existing products

  • Leverage the DBS tools to initiate and champion impactful and sustainable kaizens/events to drive continuous improvement to processes related to installed base support

  • Support annual price review and implementation to drive growth from consumables, upgrades, and product improvements

  • Support training activities (internal, channel, KA)

 

Measures of Performance

  • Quality PPM

  • Compliance rate

  • SKU rationalization (reduction)

  • YoY price lift

  • Growth funnel for existing products (incremental bookings/rev from existing products)

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or equivalent education and experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency in time management and action plan development and execution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to build and maintain healthy cross-functional relationships (leading through influence)

  • Strong analytical skills including data analysis and Excel

  • Product development experience an asset

  • Customer insight/VOC experience an asset

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
