As a Gluer Operator, you'll be setting up and running our gluing equipment smoothly and efficiently to ensure top-notch products are delivered to our customers. You play a crucial role as the final checkpoint before our products go out, making quality assurance a top priority in everything you do.
More about your responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate cutting-edge gluing equipment to ensure seamless production.
  • Ensure our barcode scanner is up and running, guaranteeing smooth operations and accurate tracking.
  • Monitor glue levels and maintain optimal reservoir levels, keeping our production flowing without a hitch.
  • Perform ongoing inspections to ensure every carton meets our high-quality and safety standards, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Purge gluers at the end of each production run, ensuring equipment longevity and continued efficiency.
  • Assist our Feeders and Packers when time allows, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Keep our machinery in top shape by completing maintenance tasks and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies and lean processes, driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Assist with staging stock and corrugate throughout the production run, ensuring materials are ready when needed.
  • Keep your work area tidy and organized, promoting a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Tackle any other duties as assigned, showcasing your flexibility and willingness to contribute to our team's success.

  • Post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Gluer Operator preferably within the printing/packaging industry is a requirement.
